Starr Peak Mining Ltd. (OTC: STRPF, TSXV: STE) is a mineral exploration company based in Canada, and was incorporated in 1981. The company works to explore metal mineral deposits with an emphasis on gold and copper. They have made a substantial gold find on their NewMétal property in Quebec, which is close to Amex Exploration's Perron property, and the firm is committed to developing this discovery.[1] The company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and is publicly traded on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) under the ticker symbol STE.

Starr Peak Mining Ltd. is a mineral exploration company that is focused on exploring and developing mineral properties in Canada. The company has a portfolio of projects in Quebec, which includes the NewMétal property, the Normétal property, and the Courcy property. The NewMétal property is the company's flagship asset, which covers an area of approximately 1,090 hectares and is located in the Abitibi region of Quebec. The property is believed to have significant potential for gold and copper mineralization, and the company has conducted drilling programs to explore its potential. In addition to its Quebec properties, Starr Peak Mining has also acquired the past-producing Omineca Gold Rush Project in British Columbia. The company plans to conduct exploration work on this property to assess its potential for gold mineralization.[2]

Starr Peak has several projects in the works, including Normetal Mine, Turgeon Lake Gold Property, Rousseau Gold Property and NewMetal property. Along the Chicobi Deformation Zone in Quebec's Abitibi Greenstone Belt is where you'll find the NewMetal Property. Orogenic gold and polymetallic volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) type deposits are extremely promising on the NewMetal property, which comprises of about 53 mining claims totalling 1,420 hectares. Rousseau Gold Property is a group of 12 claims totalling around 470 ha. Just east of the Rousseau Gold Property, the Turgeon Lake Gold Property has two claims totalling approximately 112 acres. Starr Peak also seeks to acquire, explore, and develop gold and base metal resources and projects in America.[2]

A significant new discovery was made at its Normetmar property in Quebec, Canada. The company has identified a massive new untested BHem (banded iron formation with hematite) anomaly on the Normetmar Deep Zone, which has potential for high-grade gold mineralization. Starr Peak Mining also provided an update on its ongoing drilling program at Normetmar. The company has completed 14 drill holes to date, with several holes intersecting significant mineralization. Highlights include Hole NM-21-13, which intersected 1.10 g/t gold over 70 meters, and Hole NM-21-14, which intersected 1.47 g/t gold over 41 meters. The company has also reported that it has mobilized a second drill rig to the Normetmar property to accelerate the drilling program. The second rig will allow Starr Peak Mining to test multiple targets simultaneously and to drill more efficiently.[3]

Starr Peak Mining is led by a management team with extensive experience in the mining industry. The company's board of directors includes experienced mining professionals and financial experts.[4]

Johnathan More - Chairman and CEO

Cyrus Driver - CFO and Director

Ron Bourgeois - Director

Reagan Glazier - Director

Dr. Jacques Trottier, PhD - Chief Technical Advisor

Yves Rougerie, P. Geo. - Vice President of Exploration

In addition to the management team noted above,  Alexis Paulin Bissonnette has formulated and directed both the drilling operation and the quality assurance program.

Recent Developments[edit]

Since volcanic massive sulphides tend to occur in clusters, the 2022 drilling campaign has so far totalled 29,017 metres and focused primarily on the Newmétal bloc, with defined Deep Zone of depth between 400m and 900m.

In the northern part of Newmétal Property, new sulphide horizon with small mineralization was found by geologists in last winter. This horizon is almost 1 km in length along strike, and it has seen very little testing too far. One of the goals of next year's drilling campaign will be to reach this newly discovered mineralization, which has a metric intersect of huge pyrite.[5]
