In a press released from July 2022, the company announced a name change to Music Licensing Inc. The name change reflects the company's new focus on music licensing and its recent acquisition of Syncalike. The company's CEO, Cameron Chell, explained that the new name better reflects the company's mission and strategy. "We believe that Music Licensing Inc. is a more accurate representation of our business and the direction we are taking," Chell said. "Our focus is on the licensing and monetization of music, and we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead." The release also mentions that Music Licensing Inc. has signed agreements with major music publishers and labels, and that the company's technology platform allows for efficient licensing and distribution of music content.[2]
