About KNRLF[edit]

Kontrol Technologies Corp (OTC: KNRLF, NEO : KNR) is a Canadian company that specializes in energy efficiency solutions for various industries. The company uses innovative technologies to help its clients reduce energy consumption and lower their carbon footprint.[1] Formerly known as Kontrol, the company is a pioneer in energy-saving technologies, specializing in IoT, Cloud, and SaaS-based technology solutions. Kontrol Energy Corp delivers market-based energy solutions to a diverse set of clients through a disciplined mergers and acquisitions strategy paired with organic expansion, with the goal of lowering their overall energy costs while lowering Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The company is headquartered in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, and has offices in Sarnia and Mississauga. Kontrol Technologies also expanded in the US with an office on Madison Street in New York.[2]

Products and Services[edit]

Kontrol Technologies provides a range of products and services, including smart building automation, energy management systems, and IoT (Internet of Things) sensors. These solutions allow clients to monitor and control their energy usage in real-time, identify areas where energy is being wasted, and make data-driven decisions to improve efficiency.

COVID-19 Detection[edit]

Kontrol Technologies' COVID-19 detection technology, BioCloud, has delivered multiple successful real-time COVID-19 detections. BioCloud is an innovative technology that uses sensors to detect the presence of the virus in the air and provide real-time alerts to building occupants and managers. BioCloud has been deployed in a number of different settings, including offices, schools, and healthcare facilities. The technology has successfully detected the presence of the virus in the air in several instances, allowing building occupants and managers to take appropriate measures to prevent the spread of the virus. BioCloud is designed to be a cost-effective and scalable solution for COVID-19 detection. The technology can be installed in various indoor environments, including HVAC systems and standalone units, and it provides real-time data and alerts through a cloud-based platform.[3]

Kontrol Technologies has received a US patent for its BioCloud technology, which is a COVID-19 detection system that uses air sampling and detection technology to identify the presence of the virus in indoor environments. The issuance of the US patent is an important milestone for Kontrol Technologies, as it strengthens the company's intellectual property portfolio and gives it greater protection for its innovative technology. The patent covers the use of BioCloud for detecting a wide range of pathogens, including the COVID-19 virus. Kontrol Technologies has been working to develop and refine its BioCloud technology to help combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The technology is designed to be a cost-effective and scalable solution for COVID-19 detection in indoor environments, and it provides real-time data and alerts to building occupants and managers.[4]

Kontrol BioWater[edit]

Kontrol Technologies launched Kontrol BioWater, a new extension of Kontrol BioCloud technology for early viral detection in water systems. The Kontrol BioWater technology will be developed with the objective of becoming the first real-time, cloud-based viral detection tool. The present wastewater sampling procedure entails on-site specialists collecting samples, transferring them to a laboratory, and then doing a separate study of the sample. This procedure is lengthy and might take many days to finish. The Kontrol BioWater is designed to increase sample automation for faster, on-site detection, potentially speeding up a reaction plan and revolutionizing the industry.[5]

Kontrol Technologies has successfully completed Phase 1 testing, which was conducted in a controlled environment, and the results were successful. The technology was able to accurately detect the presence of the virus in the air, demonstrating its potential as a tool for preventing the spread of COVID-19 in indoor spaces.[5]

HVAC and Automation Projects[edit]

The company aecured $16 Million for HVAC and Automation projects from Canadian Multi-Family High Rise customers. The company has been quoting and bidding on multiple possibilities, as indicated in the company's news release dated December 28, 2021, and this reflects the awarding of one of those opportunities, which follows the $9.7 million project award announced by the Company on March 9, 2022. The company has completed the contract and begun early site preparations for the project's anticipated start in Q3 2022, with an estimated completion date of Q4 2023.[6]

Kontrol Technologies is committed to sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of its operations. The company's solutions help its clients reduce greenhouse gas emissions and lower their energy costs. Kontrol Technologies also operates a green data center, which is powered by renewable energy sources.

Kontrol Technologies Corp. has been selected by a large Ontario city to develop a Net Zero Emission and Climate Action plan, according to a recent announcement. The city, which has hundreds of buildings under management, aims to achieve net zero emissions by 2030 and chose Kontrol through a competitive bidding process. Kontrol CEO Paul Ghezzi highlighted the significance of the contract, particularly as it represents the company's third public sector win in a short period. Kontrol's IoT, Cloud and SaaS technology will be used to help the customer reduce and offset emissions from its commercial and industrial buildings. The identity of the customer has not been disclosed for competitive reasons.[7]
