Digerati Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB: DTGI) offers a wide variety of telephony products and services over the internet via its own cloud-based network. Founded in 1993 and based in the United States, Digerati provides these products to businesses and other companies that resell these services to their customers.[1]

The company describes its offerings as carrier-grade, and touts its “robust integration platform to fuel mergers and acquisitions” which has been acquiring and managing acquisitions and merger partners since 2015. Digerati serves hundreds of channels partners and nearly 50,000 business in many different industries. [2]

Verve Cloud, Inc.[edit]

On February 7, 2023, Digerati announced its plan to combine T3 Communications, Nexogy, and NextLevel Internet. The remaining operating company will be called Verve Cloud, Inc. The company anticipates this consolidation will be completed by July 31, 2023 across all of its products and services.[3]

Operating Companies[edit]

Digerati provides its products through several operating companies, including T3 Communications, Nexogy, SkyNet Telecom and NextLevel Internet.[4]

T3 Communications[edit]

T3 Communications provides hosted PBX, fiber optic internet, business cellular connectivity, and secure VPN networking.[5]

Nexogy[edit]

Nexogy provides cloud based Contact Center solutions, collaboration tools, and internet services to small and medium size business in major cities across the United States.[6]

NextLevel Internet[edit]

NexLevel Internet, founded in 1999, provides Internet, Business Communication Services, Contact Center and SD-WAN services to clients of all sizes.[7]

In December, 2022, NextLevel debuted its Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) solution. Combining AI with intelligent call routing, workflow automation, virtual agents, and team collaboration tools, this service is designed to help clients organizations lower costs while enhancing the customer experience without increasing headcount. Since it is hosted in the cloud, Next Level's Contact Center enables its business users to provide first-rate customer support from any location.[8]

Digerati CEO Arthur L. Smith remarked that the Company's commitment to being a "single-source solution provider" in the UCaaS and CCaaS spaces would be strengthened by the launch of this new product. "With this recent product introduction, we now have a complete omnichannel contact center solution to complement our current call centre offering.[8]

The new CCaaS solution from Next Level makes adding, growing, and integrating different communication channels less complicated and resource-intensive. This new omnichannel system, which incorporates cutting-edge CCaaS technology, covers not only the conventional phone capabilities of a contact centre but also a wide variety of digital channels, such as chat, email, SMS, social media, and other messaging applications.[8]

Sky Net Telecom[edit]

SkyNet Telecom provides voice over IP to small and medium size business, and is now part of NextLevel. The company uses Metaswitch Network for telecommunications services and phones from popular brands like Polycom, Cisco and Yealink.[9]

MEOA[edit]

Digerati and Minority Equality Opportunities Acquisition Inc. (MEOA) signed a business combination agreement on August 30, 2022. MEOA is a special purpose acquisition company (commonly referred to as a ‘SPAC’), created for the express purpose of entering into a merger or other type of business combination with minority owned of managed companies. The agreement values Digerati's business at $105 million and is expected to be completed during Q1 2023.[10]

Vida Global, Inc.[edit]

Verve Cloud, Inc., a subsidiary has struck a partnership with Vida Global, Inc. The joint development agreement calls for Verve's voice platform to include Vida's conversational AI technology in the product's launch to current customers.[11]
