A market cap of $450 million for a company that is losing money seems high. If you understand the technology that they own (which is very high tech) then maybe you should consider an investment. Otherwise, you will not even understand the amount of risk you are taking or the potential upside.

Alpine 4 Holdings Inc (OTC: ALPP) is a technology holding company in the metal fabrication industry. The company was formed in 2014 and is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. It was formerly known as Alpine 4 Technologies, Ltd. before its renaming to Alpine 4 Holdings Inc in March 2021.[1]
The company is a conglomerate that acquires small-capitalization businesses that fit into its drivers, stabilizer, facilitator (DSF) business model. Alpine 4 Holdings thrives in developing a Blockchain-enabled enterprise business operating system known as SPECTRUMebos. The DSF model enables the company to acquire business-to-business companies that fit under several portfolios; Aerospace, Defense Services, Technology, Manufacturing, or Construction Services. Its diverse subsidiary holdings offer a myriad of products and services. Its subsidiaries include A4 Corporate Services, LLC, ALTIA, LLC, Quality Circuit Assembly, Inc., Morris Sheet Metal, Corp, JTD Spiral, Inc., Excel Construction Services, LLC, SPECTRUMebos, Inc., Vayu (US), Inc., Thermal Dynamics, Inc., Alternative Laboratories, LLC., Identified Technologies Corporation, ElecJet Corp. and DTI Services Limited Liability.[2]
Alpine 4 Holdings provides electronic manufacturing solutions across the world. It offers automotive technologies like the 6th Sense Auto and BrakeActive. These car technologies offer various advantages to the automotive dealership industry management, finance, sales, and service departments to enhance productivity, profitability, and customer safety. The company also provides fabricated metal parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies to original equipment manufacturers; and designs fabricates, and installs dust collectors, industrial ventilation systems, architectural work, commercial ductwork, kitchen hoods, machines guards, water furnaces, and specialized spiral ductwork, among others.[3]

Alpine 4 Holdings works to integrate subsidiary companies' operations from different industries vertically. The company clearly understands how technology and innovation can accentuate a business and thus focuses on adopting new technologies, even in brick-and-mortar businesses. Alpine acquires emerging driver companies with upside potential for revenue and profit. Stabilizer companies avail sticky customers with consistent income and provide solid net profits. The company uses facilitator companies to provide products or services that other Alpine 4 subsidiaries can use as leverage to develop a competitive advantage.[4]
On August 19, 2021, the company announced that Thermal Dynamics International, Inc (TDII), its subsidiary, was awarded a new $2.2M contract in Africa. TDII specializes in managing complex assets, projects, and infrastructure, including support and services for the engineering, design, logistics, and installation of HVAC, Control, and Electrical systems in government facilities outside the United States. This followed the $1M contract for a new project in Europe secured earlier this month.[5]
On October 5, 2021, Alpine 4 Holdings' subsidiary, Alternative Laboratories, LLC. (Alt Labs), announced that it had secured a $1,900,000 purchase order from a new client focusing on Men's Health and Anti-Aging products. Alt Labs is a dietary and nutrition contractor and provides clients with effective health products. On November 18, 2021, Identifies Technologies, an Alpine 4 subsidiary, was awarded a multi-year site management drone-mapping contract for a Florida US Army Corps of Engineers project.[6]
On March 4, 2022, another subsidiary, Morris Sheet Metal, was awarded several new projects summing up to $4.6 million in the educational and healthcare facilities space. Morris Metal is a full-service HVAC Contractor offering design, fabrication, and installation services and custom metal fabrication services. Another subsidiary, Vayu Aerospace Corporation (VAYU), entered into a procurement agreement with ENSCO to acquire the US-1 drone for its operations in the United States.[7]
Financials and Stock[edit]
In January 2021 the company submitted a $170 million S3 shelf registration with the SEC. It raised $54 million during Q1 2021 as well as paid down $14 million in debt.[8]
